Summary
BiCapitales does not collect, store or share personal information. There is no account or sign-in, and the app contains no analytics, advertising or tracking software.
Information kept on your device
Your watchlist, finished lessons, chart drill results and the haptic feedback setting are saved only on your iPhone using standard system storage. Market and filing responses are cached on the device so the app can show recent figures when you are offline. We cannot see any of this information. Deleting the app removes it, and you can clear learning progress at any time in Settings.
Requests to data providers
To show prices, charts and company figures, the app requests public data directly from your device:
- Market prices, charts and symbol search from public market data endpoints.
- Company filings and financial figures from SEC EDGAR, operated by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
These requests contain only what is needed to return the data, such as a ticker symbol. Like any internet request, they reveal your IP address to the server that answers them, which is handled under that provider's own policies. We do not receive or log these requests.
Web pages
Links to this policy, the terms of use and SEC documents open in an in-app browser. The pages on bicapitales.com do not use cookies or analytics.
Support email
If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. We use it only to answer you and delete correspondence when it is no longer needed.
Children
BiCapitales is a general educational app and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
